Ian Terblanche - Leader of Experian Telecoms Team

Heading up strategic growth in the Telecoms sector covering all aspects of medium and long term sector strategy and full P&L management. With over 25 years in the IT Industry, a strong business consulting focus and running P&L's of over £150m per year, Ian has a wealth of experience and expertise in this area. 

As a successful business leader with a solid, proven track record of restructuring and running profitable businesses both in the UK and globally, he strives to push innovation and growth in the sector covering all aspects of medium to long term strategy for our customers. 





Ed Heal

With over 18 years’ experience in Credit risk, Fraud and Scoring, Ed leads our Decisioning Software and Analytics Services. Having worked with all of the major UK network operators for many years he ensures that client solutions are designed, developed, implemented, supported and maintained throughout the complete customer lifecycle, to deliver the maximum business benefits, to our valued clients.




Nick Thurlow

Our Account Director for Telecoms, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, focussing primarily on the delivery of large Credit Risk Platforms. In his career, he has worked on a range of complex projects from IT development programmes involving risk and collections, managed hosting platforms, disaster recovery and  data migration. Nick specialises in bringing new clients into data sharing and increasing the use of credit data and systems. 




Phil Watson

Phil has 33 years’ experience in finance operations & credit management in Banking, Financial Services and since 1995, his specialist area, Telecommunications. He has engaged with many Telecoms clients in the 43 countries he has visited since joining Experian to expand and refine his knowledge of the telecommunications industry. His in-depth knowledge covers payments, channel commissions, Equipment Sales Ledger and the full customer life cycle from targeting, acquisition and fraud prevention through to the complete management of the collections environment (in-house collections centre, in-house pseudo DCA, off-shore operations, 3rd party outsourcing and DCA management).



Mark Wright

A Senior Consultant with over 20 years’ experience within credit risk management solutions and strategies, Mark has been helping to drive our customers strategic direction across credit risk, fraud and collections operations, with a key focus on customer satisfaction. Having worked across multiple markets and blue chip companies, he utilises his broad experience to understand what the customer really needs.




Ian Grundy

With over 22 years with Experian and focussing exclusively on mobile telecommunications for the past 10 years. Ian has managed relationships with four of the five UK MNO’s, including five years as Head of Telecommunications – Sales, co-ordinating pre-sales, sales and post live activities. This specialist experience allows Ian to focus on maximising the greatest value for each individual client, from different levels within the business.




Victoria Woodrow

A Consultant with 10 years’ experience working within the Telecoms sector with Experian. Victoria has a history of working with both the major UK mobile Telecom operators and also the MVNO sector, using a consultative approach to help to drive client solutions across both credit risk and fraud. She is dedicated to providing an analytical and consultative approach for each of her clients.






Daniel Tilley

A Senior Global Consultant with over 20 years’ experience across multiple sectors covering credit risk and marketing. He has experience across the entire customer lifecycle including P&L management, portfolio monitoring, forecasting, campaign analysis and financial modelling. Capitalising upon broad experience, Daniel works in partnership with his clients to understand their business, their goals and to ultimately ensure they are maximising all opportunities for value creation.





Shaun Gallagher

Our Strategic Account Director for Telecoms with over 21 years’ of industry experience has an extensive portfolio of blue chip clients within the sector. He has led complex sales within acquisition, ID and fraud, customer management, collections and consolidation and delivered streamlined and frictionless processes and reduced the cost to serve. This drives both an increase in average revenue per user (ARPU) and net promoter score (NPS), achieving more profitable results for clients.



David Sykes

Our Lead Design Consultant within the Telecoms team, with over 15 years’ experience in the design and delivery of software solutions. David has managed all aspects of the full software delivery life cycle and with extensive experience in solution design, he supports both sales and delivery activities. Providing design consultancy across all markets with a focus on the specific solutions needed by each individual client. His previous experience in developing a number of new services and turn-key solutions, demonstrates an ethic to ensure initiatives fit client's precise needs. 



Andrew Toone

Andrew is a Consultant with over 10 years’ experience working with major Telecoms providers. He is at the forefront of the market evolution, helping shape and develop cutting edge policies, strategies and software solutions. Having worked across multiple markets and blue chip companies, he utilises his broad experience to understand their business, their goals and ultimately ensure they are maximising all opportunities for value creation by delivering holistic solutions with enduring tangible benefits. 




Richard Snell

Our Senior Consultant specialising in Decision Analytics has over 10 years’ experience working within Telecoms for Experian. With a history of working with major UK mobile telecommunications network operators for a number of years, Richard has recently been specialising in the MVNO market, helping drive strategy and ensuring the necessary analytical components are in place to drive the sophisticated segmentation needed for success.
