Develop new skills, network and have fun, all while raising life-changing sums of money for good causes. That’s what our volunteering programme is all about.
What could you do with three days of paid volunteering per year? As part of Experian’s graduate programme, we’ll provide you with paid leave, so you can make a real difference to the lives of others.
This year, we’ve raised £100,000 for our charity fund – The Experian Way – and our volunteers have collectively clocked up 2,218 volunteering days – the equivalent of one employee working full-time for eight years.
Here are just a couple of examples of what our team has achieved over the last year:
Mulberry Court Care Home, Nottingham
Here are our Information Technology graduates digging in and getting their hands dirty with a day of gardening at Mulberry Court Care Home in Nottingham. Not only were the residents impressed with their progress, but the team also had a lot of fun swapping their laptops for loppers.
St Ann’s Advice Centre and Food Bank, Nottingham
We encourage graduates to arrange their own volunteer days, so that’s exactly what one of our finance graduates did. Having rounded up 15 volunteers, our team visited St Ann’s Advice Centre and Food Bank in Nottingham to clear out of date stock, tidy the shelves and put together food packages.
You can make a difference too. As part of our student and graduate programmes, we’ll give you the time you need to get involved in the community and voluntary activities run by your department. Making a difference in the local community is an integral part of our commitment to society and at the very heart of what we do. Let’s create a better tomorrow together.
