Consumer CAIS is a data sharing network that collects data from over 550 million credit accounts, from over 600 different contributors, making CAIS one of the largest sources of consumer credit commitment data in the UK.
Commercial CAIS is a shared database of 13.3 million commercial credit accounts credit history maintained by Experian. All major financial institutions and creditors engaged in commercial lending activities will share details of their business customers credit commitments and how they’re performing on them.
Becoming a CAIS member allows lenders to access information on the vast majority of the UK’s active credit population by reporting consumer and commercial credit data to Experian.
